Rates and methods of payment:
We offer the best rates for different types of vehicles. Pay online by credit or debit card safely on our website or you can use PayPal. Payments in cash are also accepted on arrival.
Online bookings can be paid for by debit or credit card, however, the office will ask for a card in the name of the driver who has the booking, to maintain the guarantee according to the reserved car and for security reasons. The bank chosen by the client at the time of payment is responsible for the approval, as well as for the fees. Miacun is not responsible for future clarifications or cancellation of repeated payments. In this case, the client must resolve the situation directly with their bank.
When you book cars for second time Miacun company provides coupons for regular customers. You just need to register on the website and become a member of the company Miacun.
Requirements for car rental:
Minimum age 18 years old. Drivers under 21 are considered minors, therefore an additional fee per day of rental is charged. Valid driver’s license is required, digital license is not accepted, Mexican ID or passport of your country, credit card or debit card, cash. All fees will be made in Mexican pesos. The exchange rate is applied on the day the contract is been signed or on the day that is set in the system that has been used to charge the payment. VAT 16% is charged throughout Mexico.
Rental Policy:
The client is obliged to return the car to the pick-up point on the specified date and time. If the client does not return the car to the pick-up point, the deposit is not refundable and fines are charged depending on the distance of the car from the pick-up point.
The client’s waiting time after the appointed pick-up time is two hours, so it is important that the client sends us flight information, and if your flight is delayed, the client must call or email us to inform us of the change in pick-up time. After a two-hour delay, the reservation will be considered invalid and the company reserves the right to cancel your reservation, depending on the availability of vehicles.
Miacun offers a 30-minute delay return period, after which the following conditions apply: For each additional hour, a fee of $15USD will be charged depending on the rental car up to a maximum of 2 hours, after 2 hours of delay, a full day’s fee will be charged
If the customer made a reservation through a third party (websites, travel agencies), he / she must request a refund directly from them and will be governed by the terms and conditions of the person who provided the reservation. If the customer made a reservation through Miacun, he / she must request a refund at the following email address: info@miacun.com and / or phone , which will be carried out under the following conditions:
Reservations cancelled more than 72 hours before the pick-up time will not be subject to a penalty. Reservations cancelled less than 72 hours before the pick-up time will be charged a penalty of 10% of the total amount. Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours before the pick-up time are NOT refundable. Miacun will consider all received reservations as long as the customer meets all rental requirements; otherwise we reserve the right to reject the booking.
In the event of an accident or the consequences of an accident, as well as non-compliance with traffic rules that may result in damage to the car or fines for violations of parking rules in improper places or other violations, the responsibility lies solely with the client and is not covered by any insurance claims.
In this case, the company has the right to charge an additional fee for the payment of a fine, towing the car or compensation for damage to the car. The cost of reimbursing fines may be deducted from the client’s deposit or paid additionally.
Fuel is NOT included in the total rental price. The car is returned with the same level of gasoline that the rented car has been received by the client, as stipulated in the rental agreement. There is no refund for excess gasoline. In case of insufficient gasoline, a fee of 50 Mexican pesos per liter is charged.
It is important to clarify that in case of a refund Miacun is not responsible for the amount of commission that the banking institution charges the client.

MAXIMUM RENTAL TIME
The maximum rental period in the contract will be 30 days and a new contract must be renewed at the end of this period or, failing that, a sufficient deposit must be paid to guarantee payment at the end of the contract.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER
It is important to inform about the presence of an additional driver and pay for this service. Failure to do so will invalidate any type of insurance purchased. Prices are on the website.
CHILD SEATS
Ask at the counter during the rental.
DELIVERY AND PICKUP AT HOME
Our company can provide for your convenience and comfort the service of delivery of the car to your home or another place at the customer’s request. In this case, a service fee will be charged based on the distance from our office and the destination.
GASOLINE POLICY
The renter returns the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. If the car is returned with insufficient fuel, an additional fee will be charged.
ONE-WAY RENTAL OR DELIVERY TO ANOTHER PLACE (RETURN)
The car is returned in the city of Cancun, where it was rented. However, if the client needs to return the car in another place, this is discussed in advance and the client makes an additional agreement with our company about the possibility of returning the car from another place. In this case, the additional costs for the delivery of the vehicle are borne by the renter.
ACCIDENT AND COLLISION INSURANCE
It covers civil liability and damage to third parties (specify the amount) in the event of an accident and theft of the car. In cases of damage to the car, the driver is responsible. In cases of damage to his own health and the health of passengers, the driver is responsible.
DAMAGE, COLLISION INSURANCE.
A security deposit of 12,000 pesos is paid when renting a car and is not returned to the renter in the event of an accident. If this amount does not cover the damage, the renter covers all damage caused to our car. In all cases, the client must carry out the appropriate procedures with the necessary authorities, and also inform Miacun.
EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE.
When renting our car, the client has access to 24-hour roadside assistance (if available), including a tire inflation service (if there is no spare part, the car will be towed. This costs 500 Mexican pesos per day).
WARRANTY FOR RESERVED VEHICLE
A security deposit will be requested at the time of rental, according to the reserved category.
The said deposit is in addition to the amount of the base rate, insurance coverage, additional services and taxes stipulated by the contract. If there are no problems upon returning the car, the security deposit will be released and returned to the client. The period of release depends solely on the issuing bank of the credit card used.
Car return delay
For late return more than 30 minutes, an additional fee of 15USD will be charged
Cancellation and refund policy:
The renter is obliged to return the car clean inside and outside. If the vehicle is returned dirty or the car needs additional cleaning of the interior, then in this case the amount of 100USD will be extracted from the deposit, and all additional costs for deep cleaning of the interior are borne by the renter.
When traveling with a pet, we kindly ask you to ensure the comfort of the pet and purchase all the necessary cleaning and care products for the car to avoid an additional fee for deep cleaning of the vehicle.
